After starting his career as an IT-consultant, Diethard held Management positions in Product Development in Philips Healthcare, including Director R&D X-Ray components. After moving to the field of Customer Services, he took over the responsibility for the Healthcare Services Business in the DACH-region for five years.

In 2010, he became Senior Director Global Commercial Programs, including the ownership of the world-wide Service Sales & Marketing initiatives. After that he took over in Carestream Health the leadership for the European Service Business. For the past two years he has been with Olympus Medical EMEA responsible for the Services & Solutions business.
