Amadeu Santos is the Service Director at Valmet, overseeing automation services for Central and South Europe. With a solid background as a system engineer, he has successfully delivered numerous automation projects throughout Europe. Amadeu then advanced to the role of Country Manager, where he led Valmet's operations in Portugal.

Amadeu holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications and more recently completed an MBA, further expanding his knowledge and skill set. He specializes in various areas, including strategy development, business development, people management, solution sales, project management, digitalization, industrial automation, and customer-centric services within the automation services domain.

As the Service Director, Amadeu's key responsibilities include the development of country service teams, establishing world-class high-value-add services, leading teams, responsible for P&L, fostering cross-border cooperation, and facilitating competence development. Additionally, he plays a vital role in defining and implementing strategies, ensuring their successful execution. Amadeu's leadership is instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture within his teams.
