Global Service Sales Manager Power Protection ABB

I was born 1976 in Budapest (Hungary) then moved with my parents to southern Switzerland in 1980 where I did the basic schools.

I did an apprenticeship as Radio & Television Electrician and after I graduated as Electronic Engineer in the university of applied sciences in Lugano with a specialization in telecommunications.

In year 2000 I moved to Zürich where I have been working as integrated circuits designer engineer and later as Lead designer for the digital section of the Display Drivers of the integrated circuits.

I had the opportunity to spend some time in Shanghai to develop our local development center. In 2006 I moved to a small company in the Zürich area called Smtag International covering the CTO role for the active RFID devices. Later in 2006 I moved back to the southern Switzerland area and was hired as Service Project Manager for General Electric in the

Uninterruptible Power Supplies product group.

In GE I covered various roles: Project Manager, International Projects Manager, and Service Sales Manager for the swiss market.

In 2013 I moved to ABB in the role of after sales manager for the factory team. Later I have been appointed as Global Service Manager for UPS.

In 2019, I was promoted to the Global Service Sales Manager for Power Protection (includes UPS, Power Conditioning and Power Solutions product line).

I fluently speak 5 languages (Italian, English, German, French and Hungarian).

I am also giving electronic lessons in the Multimedia Electrician schools in Lugano and I am an expert witness for the final examinations of the electricians.
