Markus Hucko

COO Leadec Group

After graduating from Phillips University in Marburg, Markus initially worked in the automotive sector at Ferrostaal Industrie- und System-Logistik GmbH. In 2002 Markus Hucko joined the CWS-boco Group. His responsibilities there included comprehensive process optimizations as COO of different subsidiaries and as CFO of CWS-boco Supply Chain Management GmbH. In addition, he was in charge of replacing the ERP systems as CIO. Since 2016 he had worked as Management Spokesperson for CWS-boco Suisse S.A., the Swiss group division.

Markus joined the Leadec Board of Management as COO in 2017. In the course of his digitalization strategy, the company turned to a stringent cloud strategy, process standardization and centralization, and agile development. Markus  used the necessary IT carve-out to renew the entire IT infrastructure and application landscape and to digitalize the core business processes in their entirety. The aim was to anticipate changing customer needs and make Leadec fit for the factory of the future. This success was recognized with the prestigious “Digital Leader Award” in 2021.
